Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a difference between glasses purchased at a chain store, online or at a professional office?
Yes! Simply put, you get what you pay for. The materials used in "cheaper" glasses are almost always of lesser quality. In many cases advertisements from these stores can be misleading and customers find once they enter the store they do not qualify for any deals. Over the years, Eye Center Optical has had many customers come in after pricing glasses at a chain store and tell us that by the time they got the frame and lenses they wanted, our prices were lower than the chain store. Purchasing eyewear online can lead to the purchase of poor quality frames that will not meet your needs. Online, the consumer is responsible for supplying their own measurements to ensure the glasses fit. The consumer is responsible for their own adjustments (very few opticians will adjust frames purchased online) and the consumer is left with cheap glasses that rarely meet their needs.
Is there parking at your office?
The Minardi Eye Center and Eye Center Optical offer a paid parking lot. There is metered parking along the St. Francis Hospital Complex and a paid parking garage for St. Francis Hospital.
